Highlights

The 12-day Pikey Peak Trek is a newly opened route in the lower Everest region that has remained undiscovered in the shadows for a long time. Recently, it has gained popularity as one of the best short treks in Nepal due to its magnificent mountain scenery. Sir Edmund Hillary claimed the view from the top of Pikey Peak to be his best.

During the trek, you will experience the rich culture of the Sherpas, Tamangs, and Magars, who are known for their warm hospitality. The trail passes through beautiful rhododendrons and pine forests, charming Sherpas, Tamangs, and Magars’ villages, Buddhist stupas, mani walls, etc. From the top of Pikey Peak (4067 M), you can enjoy a panoramic view of various Himalayan ranges from east to west, including the seven 8000-plus-meter mountains such as Mt Everest (8848 M), Kanchenjunga (8586 M), Lhotse (8516 M), Makalu (8463 M), Dhaulagiri (8167 M), Manaslu (8163 M), and Annapurna (8091 M).

The best time to ascend to the top is in the morning, allowing you to witness the sun’s rays dancing over the mighty peaks. This trek is ideal for those with limited time, as it can be completed within a week.
